Lot 12: KM Queen May Complete 177 (reg#17023257)
A heavy muscled, well balanced, and high performing Complete daughter that is a maternal sister to KM Roughage Buster 93 whom sold to High Point Genetics and ABS Global. Roughage Buster sired High Points top selling bull and sire group in 2013. Dam and granddam are both pathfinder cows and past donor cows. Dam is a maternal sister to the $12,000 KM Kruggerand Krush. Her 2014 son, KM Obligation 4123 was used for clean up at KM Cattle Co. and his service sells. She has 3 calves with a 363 day interval. Progeny (1 too young): 2 WW@118; 1 YW @115; 1 IMF@103; 1 RE@104. She sells open and ready to flush. Been successfully flushed throughout this fall.

Lot 12A: Selling 2 embryos sired by the popular Select Sires bull, SAC Conversation. He was the talk of the yards at the 2015 National Western Stock Show.

Lot 12B: Selling 2 or 4 embryos sired by WR Journey-1X74. Journey is the breeds #2 bull for Beef Value. He is a +16 Calving ease EPD with unbelievable curve bender birth to yearling spread. He also ranks #2 in the breed for $W index with a +35 docility EPD



Lot 13: KM Queen May 187-818 (reg#17107991)-
Sale Featured, super deep wide based tank of a brood cow. Very similar to her Mytty In Focus donor dam, KM Queen May 818 who had a 120 ratio on 3 head with an annual flush all while maintaining a 359 day interval in the Riley Brothers herd (WI).  Dam is a maternal sister to the dam of Lot 16. Her maternal brother sold to Green Mountain Angus Ranch (MT) in NWSS Denver Bull Sale. Maternal brother, KM Obligation 259 sold to Mill Coulee Angus Ranch (WI) and is in the ORIgen bull stud. Another maternal brother, KM Obligation 256 served as natural service sire at KM Cattle Co. Maternal Sister sold to Gary Wall & Sioux Pass Angus Ranch. Bred A I to KM Broken Bow 002 on 4-13-15. Pasture exposed to KM Obligation 4123 from 5/11 to 6/29. Vet examined safe to Broken Bow due 1-21-16. Should be a home run mating.

Lot 13A: KM Queen May 5116 (reg#18213730)
Nicely made February heifer calf that is similar to her mother in the respect of depth and base width. Her sire, KM Buster 314, is a KM Roughage Buster son who was kept for use in our herd. She is halter broke and very easy going.



Lot 14: KM Queen May 4223 (reg#17894575)-
A powerful, complete, and balanced KM Broken Bow bred heifer from the Queen May cow family that was chosen from the top of the bred heifers to be a sale feature. Dam is a very broody and high performing Traveler 004 daughter that sold in last years sale to Kurt Kuhn (NE). She records individual YWR@102; Scan weight@106; IMF@115; REA@102. She ratio’d 122 on her post weaning gain. Dam records 3 WW@105; 2 YW@107. Bred A I to Connealy Comrade on 4-8-15. Pasture exposed to KM Impression 40. Vet examined safe to Comrade due 1-14-16. Comrade is now the Select Sires record holder for most semen sold in one year!

Lot 15: KM Queen May 4215 (reg#17894581)-
A daughter of the ORIgen , Mill Coulee and KM Cattle Co. Sire, KM Obligation 259 who is a maternal brother to Lot 13 and his dam, KM Queen May 818 is a maternal sister to the dam of Lot 16. Obligation cattle are super deep and easy fleshing with loads of performance. Her dam is a picture perfect cow who is our best Roughage Buster female in the herd. A maternal sister by Broken Bow is a promising young cow who just ratioed 103 on her first calf. Bred A.I. on 4-29-15 to KM Broken Bow 002. Pasture exposed to KM Impression 40. Vet examined safe to Broken Bow due 2-5-16.


Lot 16: KM Queen May 5101 (reg#18213736)-
The best KM Broken Bow 002 daughter from the 2015 calf crop. Very hard one to let go of but we wanted to offer a special one like her. Her dam is a full sister to last years top selling female, KM Queen May 207-666 Trust selling to J & L Angus. Dam is a maternal sister to KM Queen May 818, who is the dam of KM Obligation 259 (Mill Coulee Angus and ORIgen) and Lot 13. Dam is also a maternal sister to KM Better Answer 16, the sire of Lots 30-35. Granddam was the 2007 Iowa State Fair FFA Reserve Champion Angus Heifer and went on to be a KM Pathfinder Donor cow. Last year, we felt that 207 was the best female we have ever offered for sale. 5101 is even better. She offers so much base width and depth while coming down very square on all 4 and being super sound structurally. You would be hard pressed to find a heifer that can offer more from a total package of performance, power, and phenotype. She is very easy going and was the easiest heifer that I have ever broke to lead. She is a definite donor prospect.


Lot 17:  KM Predestined Princess 828 (reg#16181383)-
A maternal sister to KM Broken Bow 002, who has quickly become one of the most popular bulls at ABS Global. We have received word from ABS that Broken Bow will be one of the lead bulls for calving ease in this coming breeding season, so a perfect time to pick up a proven, powerful producing maternal sister. She is a three generation pathfinder female. She records 6 WW@108; 4 YW@105; 4 IMF@103; 4 REA@112 and has a calving interval of 358 on 6 calves. All of her bull progeny have sold in the range of $6,000 to $8,000 and one by VAR Reserve will be a sale feature in our February TopCut Bull Sale. Final Answer daughter sells as Lot 14. Another daughter by Sydgen Trust is retained and is the dam of a bull that will be another sale feature in our bull sale. Pasture exposed to KM Obligation 4128 from 6-1 to 8-13 and vet examined safe due early May.


Lot 18: KM Final Princess 186 (reg#17023247)-
A Final Answer daughter from the super productive Princess cow family. She records 3 BW@99, 3 WW@99, 3 YW@104, 2 RE@103. Pathfinder dam is a maternal sister to KM Broken Bow 002 and sells as Lot 15. Several maternal brothers have been top selling bulls for KM Cattle Company selling in the range of $6,000 to $8,000. Daughter by Connealy Impression is retained in herd. Bred A I to KM Broken Bow 002 on 4-13-15. Pasture exposed to KM Obligation 4123 from 5/11 to 6/29. Vet examined safe to KM Broken Bow 002 due 1-20-16.

Lot 18A: KM Princess 5119 (reg#18213728)
She is also a daughter of KM Buster 314, the KM Roughage Buster son who was kept for use in our own herd. A very nice and long fronted fancy female. She is halter broke.

Lot 19 KM Princess 212-048 Trust (Reg#17226204)-
Productive Trust daughter from the Princess cow family. Pathfinder dam is a full sister to ABS featured bull KM Broken Bow 002. 3 generation of pathfinders on the dam side. That is tough to accomplish. She records individual WWR@117; YWR@109; IMF-7.71% ratio 125; REA- 13.1” ratio 121. She records 2 NR@105 with an interval of 320 days. She has a $W EPD of +67 which ranks in the top 3% of the breed and a $B EPD of +156 which ranks in the top 2% of the breed. Bred A.I. to KM Roughage Buster 93 on 8-15-15. Vet examined safe and due to calve to Roughage Buster on 5-23-16.


Lot 20: KM Elba 4209 (reg#17894579)-
Powerful Broken Bow daughter from the KM Elba cow family. Deep bodied, heavy muscled, and well balanced all describe this sale feature. Dam records 2 NR@103; 2 IMF@110 and is a maternal sister to Lot 22. A full sister is retained in the KM herd. Bred A.I. to KM Roughage Buster 93 on 4-11-15. Pasture exposed to KM Impression 40. Vet examined safe to Roughage Buster due 1-18-16.

Lot 21: KM Lady 4206 (reg#17900432)-
Sale featured bred heifer sired by one of the hottest bulls in the breed and from the hottest cow families in the breed, Riley Brother’s Lady cow family. Her super productive Mytty In Focus dam was purchased directly from Riley Brothers in WI. This is the same cow family that has produced several progeny that have sold for crazy amounts of money all the way up to $170,000 (RB Lady Standard 305-890). She is a tough one to let go of, however I am able to because of her twin sister. Two other maternal sisters by Broken Bow are also retained. In their first calvings their calves ratioed 110 and 101 respectively.  The one by Full Power is one of the best bulls in the pen and we feel he is stud and breeder quality.She recorded individual WWR@107; YWR@109; Post-weaning gain@112. Bred A.I. to KM Broken Bow 002 on 4-17-15. Pasture exposed to KM Impression 40. Vet examined safe to Broken Bow due 1-24-16.


Lot 22: KM Erica 379 (reg#17608418)-
Another sale feature sired by Barstow Cash from a breed leading cow family. Her donor dam was the $13,000 top selling cow in the 2011 Flag Ranch Dispersal Sale at Gering, NE. She was one of the most productive cows at Flag Ranch and one of Larry Rice’s favorites. As Larry put it, “50823 is a fantastic producer by a fantastic producer”. Five maternal brothers have averaged $5,800 and 3 maternal brothers sell in our KM Cattle TopCut Bull Sale this year. A maternal sister was the 2nd top selling heifer calf in the same dispersal that dam was purchased from. 10 maternal sisters are retained in the KM herd and all are proving to be outstanding. Dam has built a powerhouse of a cow family at KM Cattle Co. Her dam, “50823” records 7 WW@115; 5 YW@109; 11 IMF@112; 11 RE@107 and at 11 years old she is still very sound and productive and looks to last for many more years. 379 recorded an Individual WWR of 110 and was too young at yearling time. Lot 23: KM Blackcap Lady 4225 (reg#17894586)
A very attractive and well balanced, nicely made female from the Blackcap Lady cow family. Dam was purchased from Hinman Angus Ranch in Montana. She is nice fronted and deep bodied and should produce some attractive calves that have a lot to them. Bred A.I. to KM Broken Bow on 4-29-15. Pasture exposed to KM Impression 40. Vet examined safe to Broken Bow due 2-5-16.



Lot 24: KM Elba 372 (reg#17598554)
A Connealy Impression daughter from the productive KM Elba cow family. Dam records 5 NR@100. Maternal sister to the dam of Lot 23. Bred A.I. to KM Broken Bow 002 on 6-27-15. Pasture exposed to KM Obligation 4128 from 7-13 to 8-13. Vet examined safe to Broken Bow due 4-5-16.

Lot 25: KM Miss Barbara 4227 (reg#17894577)
A daughter of KM Trustee, who was the featured and top selling bull in the 2013 Earl Marshall Sale. Trustee is a maternal brother to the popular ABS bull, KM Broken Bow. Dam was purchased in the 2011 Flag Ranch Dispersal Sale. A calving ease growth combination female that also bring carcass and performance to the table. Bred A.I. on 4-29-15 to KM Roughage Buster 93. Pasture exposed to KM Impression 40 (maternal brother to Lot 13 and KM Obligation 259). Vet determined too close to call due mid February.

Lot 26: KM Queen May 4231 (reg#17894593)
This Obligation daughter is from the super productive and well known Queen May cow family. Dam is a maternal sister to ABS bull KM Roughage Buster 93 and a full sister to Lot 12 donor cow. Roughage Buster sired the top selling bull and sire group at co-owner High Point Genetics in 2013. This female is a full sister in blood to KM Obligation 4123 (KM Herd sire and pictured on page 4).  Dam records 3 BW@93; 3 NR@101. Bred A.I. to KM Broken Bow 002 on 5-4-15. Pasture exposed to KM Impression 40 (maternal brother to Lot 13 and KM Obligation 259). Vet examined safe to KM Impression 40 due 3-12-15.


Lot 27: Flag Eileensdate 90628 (reg#16349664)-
Excellent clean BT Crossover daughter that was purchased from the 2011 Flag Ranch Dispersal. She has been a wonderful cow and records 5 BW@96; 5 WW@103; 4 YW@100. At time of dispersal dam had recorded 3 BW@94; 3 NR@103; 1 YR@102. Daughter of this female by WCC Master General works in the Running Water Angus herd at Harrison, NE. Another daughter by JMB Traction 292 is retained at KM Cattle Co. Bred A.I. to JMB Traction 292 on 5-7-15. Pasture exposed to KM Obligation 4123 (son of Lot 12 donor cow and pictured on page 4). Vet estimated due early March to Obligation 4123.

Lot 28: KM Lady 203 (reg#17222946)-
A big, stout, and powerful cow sired by WCC Master General. She traces back to the famous E&B Lady Ext 858 of Benoit Angus Ranch. She recorded individual BWR@98; WWR@110; YWR@103. Dam records 5 WW@99; 4 YW@101; and 5 progeny on a 368 day calving interval. 3 maternal sisters are retained in the KM herd. Pasture exposed to KM Obligation 4128 from 6-1 to 8-13. Observed bred on 7-24 and vet examined safe to Obligation 4128 due 5-1-16.

Lot 29: Wardens Pride 4082 9018 (reg#16521469)
This larger framed cow has more growth and power than what her EPD’s suggest. 2 good daughters are retained. She is the granddam of our top KM Broken Bow son, KM Burwell 5003, who is a featured bull in our 2016 Bull offering.  She was purchased from the Wardens Farm Complete Dispersal sale. Dr. Warden led the industry in innovative research into feed efficiency for 44 years and his cowherd was the world’s foremost feed efficiency program. Dam records 5 NR@103. She recorded individual WWR@126; YWR@112. She has a 364 day calving interval. Has raised a couple E.T. calves. Exposed to KM Obligation 4128 from 6-1 to 8-13. Vet examined safe to Obligation 4128 due late April.
